Plot 9 Clammer Hill Allotments

An hour on Tuesday evening and we managed to dig another bed, very pleased with progress... before and after digging I was tempted to see how long the walk to the Wheatsheaf Inn was... maybe tomorrow ;)

Got the biggest bed (3m x 2.5m) dug over, this will be for potatoes, King Edwards and Roosters. Probably put them in at the weekend.

Some progress the first weekend, only spent 3 or 4 hours there but after investigation the plot seems to be in pretty good condition, which is a real bonus. Dug out some deep rooted weeds and tidied a lot, Lavender got a haircut and some of the largest bed got a dig. The £2 fork from the recycling center shop worked wonders. Met some of the other plot holders who all seem really nice.
